This is the largest gathering of English educators in New York State, featuring keynotes from Assistant Commissioner Ken Slenz, author/humorist David Rakoff, Nassau County Poet Laureate Linda Opyr, and author/educator Penny Kittle, as well as dozens of workshops by English educators at all levels. The conference theme is "Teaching and Learning: The Center of the Common Core."
