Since 1934, the LIAPTA (formerly LIATA) has been meeting and discussing issues impacting school children’s attendance and education. The issues discussed include topics such as judicial actions, state regulations, homelessness (McKinney-Vento), student residency, guardianship, runaways, separation anxieties, phobias and other pertinent subjects.
