I am the lead teacher of a high school special education Life Skills program in the Jericho School District. I have been fortunate enough to teach in the Elementary, Middle, and High School settings, as well as numerous special education settings (i.e., self contained, resource room, collaborative/co-teaching). I am and aspiring administrator in pursuit of my first administrative position at the building level (i.e., Assistant Principal) or within the Special Education department. I have a Master's degree in Special Education from Dowling College and a Master's degree in School Administration and Supervision from Touro College. Currently, I am completing my doctoral dissertation (EdD) in School Leadership at Concordia University. My study focuses on the factors that promote the retention of long-standing principals on Long Island. I look forward to networking and engaging with colleagues as I continue to learn more about educational leadership and pursue my first administrative position.
